Mascot: Wolf Ghella
Dacia Chişinău gave a pleasant surprise to their fans in March 2010. The Yellow Wolves got a live mascot - the she-wolf Ghella that inspires the victorious spirit of the team.
The wolf was a sacred animal for the Dacians. Our predecessors worshipped this beautiful and fierce animal protecting people. This is why Dacia's players - fierce, goal-oriented and uncompromising - are respectfully called the 'Yellow Wolves' nowadays.
Our mascot is the symbol of heroism, courage and strength. The name 'Ghella' was chosen not by accident. Ghella is the name that was usually given to brave and persistent representatives of the fairer sex. Diligence and efficiency are qualities that are peculiar for Ghella. The Yellow Wolves showed all these qualities over the club's history, especially in the extremely successful 2010/2011 season.
Aside from that, the she-wolf Ghella is a symbol of eternal values. It reminds us that though the world has changed, love and friendship are still imperishable. These feelings unite our big family called 'Dacia'.
