FC Dacia are one of the youngest and most promising Moldovan football clubs. The team is part of the top three of the Moldovan top football division. The side has played in UEFA tournaments for the past five years, facing Hamburg (Dacia 1-1 Hamburg, Hamburg 4-0 Dacia), Schalke 04 (Dacia 0-1 Schalke 04, Schalke 04 2-1 Dacia), Partizan (Tirana) (Dacia 2-0 Partizan, Partizan 0-3 Dacia), and St. Gallen (Dacia 0-1 St. Gallen, St. Gallen 0-1 Dacia).

FC Dacia have received thir first award in 200o and were named the best team of the National Championship in 2002.

The stable development of the team made FC Dacia very popular with fans.
